The School of Humanities, Languages and Social Science, part of the Faculty of Art and Humanities at the Manchester Metropolitan University is offering schools a wide range of outreach activity for students.
Our schools programme takes the theme of ‘Walking in Their Shoes’ – the idea that you never really know anything or anyone until you have worn their shoes and walked around in them a while. The theme has been chosen because of its relevance to all of our subject areas, which include: English, Creative Writing,History, Politics & Public Services, Philosophy, Sociology & Criminology,Information, Technology & Communications, Languages, Linguistics & TESOL.
We train our current students to work alongside academics or to lead workshops so that pupils can find out exactly what studying Humanities at HE actually entails.
